Part 1: Recover From Android Internal Storage
Step 1: Connect Your Android Phone To Computer
Download, Install and launch Recover (Android) Software on your computer then click on “Data Recovery”.
Now you have to connect your phone to the computer by using USB cable. Next you have to enable USB debugging on your Android phone. When your phone gets detected then you will get the screen as shown below.
Step 2: Choose Your File Types To Scan
When your phone gets connected, then Recover (Android) tool will show your all phone’s data type which it supports to recover. By default, it has already have a check mark in all the file types. You can simply select those file type which you wish to recover.
If your device is not rooted, Recover (Android) will show two options – first is “Scan for deleted files” and second is “Scan for all files”. If you choose the option “Scan for all files” then it will take longer time but also scan all your files thoroughly.
Now you have to click on “Next” to continue the data recovery process. The software will first analyze your device.
And then software will continue to scan your device to rescue your deleted data. It will take some time.
Step 3: Preview and Recover Deleted Data
When the scan process gets completed, now you can preview recoverable data. Select the files which you want and click on “Recover” to save all the erased data on your computer.
Part 2: Recover From Broken Android
In our daily life sometimes unfortunately our phone gets cracked, show black screen, water damaged while using the phone. If any of such situations happen then we are unable to use the phone and most important we are unable to access our data like contacts, messages, photos, videos and more which you have stored in your phone’s internal memory.
Well, you don’t need to panic Recover (Android) will help you to recover those data which has been stored on your Android device. So, let us see below how it works.
Step 1: Connect Your Device To Computer
Launch Recover (Android) software and then click on “Data Recovery”.
Now, connect your Android phone to computer with the help of USB cable. Next, select “Recover Android Data”.
Step 2: Select The Files Types Which You Wish To Recover From Broken Android Phone
By default, Recover (Android) software check marked all the file types. You can also choose only those file type which you want to recover from your Android device. Click on “Next” to continue the process.
Note: But remember from broken Android phone you can only recover the existing data.
Step 3: Choose The Problem Which Matches Your Condition
Here you will see the two types of fault that is “Touch doesn’t work or cannot access the phone” and “black/broken screen”. Now you can select the one fault which your Android phone is having.
Then on next window you have to select the correct device name and model name of your Android Phone.
Note: At present, recovering data from broken phone only works for Samsung phone like Galaxy S series, Note series, Tablets, etc.
After that just click on “Next” to continue.
Here you have to choose the correct device name and model name. If you choose the wrong information, it will brick your phone or it may cause any other errors. If you have given the correct information then type “confirm” and then hit on “Confirm” button to proceed further.
Step 4: Put Your Android Phone Into Download Mode
Follow the instruction shown on the program to get your device into Download Mode.
- Switch off your Android phone.
- Now press and hold “Volume Down” + “Home” + “Power” button on your Android phone.
- Press “Volume Up” button to enter download mode.
Step 5: Analyze Your Android Device
When the phone is in Download mode, Recover (Android) tool will start to analyze the Android device then it will download the recovery package.
Step 6: Preview & Recover Data From Broken Phone
When analyzing and scanning process gets completed, Recover (Android) software will show all the data types by categories. After this you will be able to choose the data to preview. Now, select the file which you want to recover and then click on “Recover” to save all your important data from the broken phone.
Part 3: Recover From Android SD Card
If you have lost your data from Android SD card mistakenly and you want to recover them, then below learn how to retrieve deleted data from Android external SD card.
Step 1: Connect Your SD Card Via Android Phone Or Via Card Reader
Launch Recover (Android) tool on your computer and then choose “Data Recovery”.
Next, connect your SD card to the computer. You have two option to connect your SD card one by “Card Reader” or another by “Android Device”. Select any option better for you. Then hit on “Next” to continue the process.
Once your SD card detected by the program then you will get the window as below. Hit on “Next” to move on.
Step 2: Choose Suitable Scan Mode To Scan Your SD Card
Here you will get the two modes for scanning your Android SD card. We advised you to select the “Standard Mode” first. If this mode doesn’t solve your problem then later you can try the “Advance Mode”. “Standard Mode” provide you the option to scan only for deleted files or for all files. And the “Advance Mode” will provide to recover complete files.
Choose the recovery mode which you find better then click on “Next” to start scanning your Android SD card.
Step 3: Selectively Preview & Recover Files From SD Card
Once the scanning process gets completed, you will find all the recoverable data in categories. Now select your files selectively and then just hit on “Recover” to save your lost data on your computer.
