Step 2: Then choose Connect With New Phone.

When you temporarily disconnect the Samsung Watch from your phone then it disables notifications and stops syncing the watch to your mobile. You will not lose any data as it doesn’t reset the Galaxy Watch. Later on, you can connect them back without resetting the watch.
